CMGI @Ventures Launches Domania.com

Real-estate services provider Domania.com (www.domania.com), an investment of a CMGI @Ventures, the venture-capital arm of CMGI Inc., launched Tuesday. Formerly known as INPHO/HomePriceCheck, Domania.com allows users to search records of home sales prices, find home-values estimates based on historic trends, estimate property taxes and rates, and search and track the equity of their homes. Domania.com also delivers e-mail notices of recent neighborhood sales and real-estate market information. CMGI is a network of Internet companies, in which Compaq Corp., Intel Corp. and Microsoft Corp., among others, hold minority positions. CMGI's majority-owned operating companies include Engage Technologies Inc., NaviSite Inc., and AltaVista. CMGI @Ventures has ownership interests in 51 companies, including Lycos Inc., Critical Path, and Silknet.
